MiMi’s Emergency Room provides a variety of healthcare services including DNA testing,ACLS, BLS, Pet Tech cpr and much more in an environment that is conducive to learning while promoting the latest in health care standards and practice to the people we serve. Our goal is to implement life saving measures for adults and children with an emphasis on following American Heart Association standards and safe health practices. We inspire and promote confidence through our hands on teaching so if a life threatening emergency arises our students are well prepared, trained and respond. Over the past year MiMi’s Emergency Room has expanded its Emergency Services to meet the need of the public through a variety of services.
MiMi's Emergency Room is a gracious franchisee with Pet Tech. Pet Tech is the leader in First Aid and CPR for cats and dogs. MiMi's does not stop with intervening CPR for children and adults. MiMi has expanded its services to thorough teaching pet lovers can be more confident that when an emergency arises with their pet they can assist with preserving measures.

MiMi has expanded its services to Legal Nurse Consultant. MiMi a registered professional nurse shares a wealth of knowledge in documentation, resuscitation documentation, discipline scenarios, fall documentation and prevention. MiMi’s Legal Nurse Consultant services provides nurses of all levels the reassurance they need to document preventative measures and recovery when and incident has occurred from a real life perspective.

MiMi’s Emergency Room has added live instructor led tutoring sessions for nursing students. The sessions vary in topic and include the necessary information and concepts students need to pass exams understand theory and build confidence. Each session is 8 hours long which is more cost efficient than hourly tutoring fees. Tutoring will be held on the dates posted based on enrollment not based on quantity of students.
Payments must be submitted prior to the date of tutoring to secure a seat.
Students should be prepared to learn, interact and retain new information.
No children are allowed

MiMi’s Emergency Room was developed by the owner MiMi who has been an emergency room nurse in Chicago and surrounding suburbs for over 15 years. We are the only CPR training center that offers, days weekend and late night class options. Just like an emergency room our setting understands that different people have different needs thus we offer a variety of services which includes comprehensive training through the American Heart Association, a mobile laboratory for preliminary drug screening and testing, healthcare education and development, tutoring for nursing students, EKG and Rhythm Intepretation for Nurses, and Legal Nurse Consulting Our team works closely with clients to deliver customized training that meets the needs of each student based on their uniqueness. We pride ourselves on working with the mature nurse and nursing students alike.
Classes are typically held on Thursdays Some American Heart Association Classes are available on weekends. MiMi’s Emergency Room allows flexibility and works out appointments at no additional charge as many healthcare workers work long hours, nights and weekends. MiMi’s Emergency Room provides nurses with insight from a legal aspect. The legal consultations help nurses with documentation during falls, errors, how to defensive chart, examples of preventative measures, personal responsibility and protection. This consultation is for nurses who have questions or concerns regarding disciplinary actions, causes and strategic prevention. The goal is to assist the nurse in safe practice and reduce workplace stress and fear.
MiMi’s Emergency Room does offer mobile CPR services. Mobile CPR service is available at an additional surcharge. Surcharges start at $30 and is excluded if group is 6 minimum. Surcharge rate depends on the request location, date and time.
